The notes and words of White Christmas, along with the powerful and beautiful voice of Courtney Mills (internationally acclaimed American soprano) arrive live from the window of the Holy Deer San Lorenzo City Lodge which overlooks Piazza Navona. Music as a message of beauty and hope. The soprano amazes passers-by and excites. A performance without microphones, without announcements and therefore without gatherings. Only with the desire to pay tribute to the artists who are experiencing such a difficult and delicate moment.
Accompanied by pianist Alessandro Panatteri (composer, among other things, of some pieces of the film The Legend of the Pianist on the Ocean) Courtney Mills enchanted with lyrical interpretations of the classic Christmas songs.
Among the most famous songs of the repertoire: O holy night and Silent night. “We wanted to offer a special stage to express our solidarity with the artists and culture that, as we have shown when it wants, even if trapped by the pandemic, never stops finding its way and thrills”, said Stefano Barbini, owner of the lodge in Piazza Navona, ex residence of Pope Innocent X, who now promises other events and surprises from this window.
