Surprise Opera on Remblai des Sables-d’Olonne
International singer Courtney Mills surprised the public with a glimpse of her talent during a flashmob on the Remblai des Sables-d’Olonne, a few days away from a great opera show at La Jarrie.
A flashmob under the sun for the taste of a great opera show! This is what summer visitors on the Remblai des Sables-d’Olonne were able to enjoy this Thursday, August 26, 2021.
Saturday, August 28 at 9 p.m. 100 artists will attend a grand opera gala against the backdrop of Jarrie Park. Bizet, Verdi and Puccini will be in the spotlight to properly celebrate the end of summer, as part of the opera summer extravaganza. An event that aims to be popular and which has the ambition to make opera accessible to a greater number of people.
And it is with this in mind that Courtney Mills, the American soprano who will participate in this event, intends to go directly to meet the public from Sablon through several flashmobs scheduled after her rehearsals.
This Thursday, the public was able to enjoy the first performance of its kind. Appointment is also given on Friday August 27 at 12:30 p.m., still on the Remblai des Sables-d´Olonne and Saturday August 28 at the market of the Halles Centrales Sables-d’Olonne, around 11:30 a.m.
Saturday evening, at 9 p.m., as part of the Jarrie, in Olonne-sur-Mer, fans will be able to find the artist surrounded by mezzo-sopranos Melody Wilson and Daria Cherniy or even the tenor Denys Pivnitskyi as part of this famous OSE project (Opera Summer Extravaganza – all orchestrated by Christian Guillonneau and the Sables-d’Olonne Symphony Orchestra.
